John Schindler grew up in Elm Grove.  He went to St. Mary’s grade school and Brookfield Central High School.  After attending UW-Madison he became a Research Hydrogeologist with the USGS. Later in life he transitioned into emergency medicine and recently retired as a Flight Paramedic with Flight for Life.

     John and his wife Jean reside on Grandview Drive. He is a board member of the Elm Grove Community Foundation, is the President of the Elm Grove Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, and serves on the Village Public Safety and the Ad Hoc Pathway committees. John has also been serving our community as a volunteer Paramedic for over 25 years. He is currently a Realtor with Moving Forward Realty.
